Über das Kunstwerk
The painting "Sunflowers" was painted under the influence of events that happened in my life. I met a woman with two children, and soon we decided to have another child, our own. The woman got pregnant, and we almost had a baby, but, unfortunately, he died. Then the beginning of the picture was laid. At first it was in dark colors, it had a black background. The sunflower connecting two large flowers was pale and dead, as if conveying my suffering. After a while, I met my future bride and the picture was transformed thanks to her. The sky turned blue, the flowers brighter. I managed to transform my inner darkness into the light that illuminated the painting.
