Magdalena is mostly working with abstract, expressionist, conceptual painting and photography, but also occasionally with ceramic, installations and performance. She's connecting with abstract expressionism, action painting, surrealism and experimental photography techniques.

Magdalena often works with aesthetic and gesture of scripture, using visual beauty of failed literary expression.
Her creative process is chaotic, dynamic, emotional, intuitive, experimental. It requires state of present being.

Magdalena was born in 1983 in Cracow (the most bohemian city of Poland), graduated from university (Journalism and Social Communication), abandoned a photography school (boring), and years later she used to teach in Academy of Photography in Warsaw (fun!).

She used to live in Poland, Japan, Montenegro, UAE, Madagascar and Democratic Republic of Congo. Those experiences and aesthetics of those places, have influenced Magdalena's work, expanding her perspectives and visual vocabulary.

She has numerous art projects to her credit, which she carried out, among others, in Madagascar, Switzerland, DRC and Poland.

She's currently living and working in Engadine valley in Switzerland.
