Style artistique
At this point my intention in every piece I do, is to represent a realistic work. I'm an illustrator so my art must show belivable people and belivable enviroments that tell the viewer a story (basically i'm a storyteller).
Most of my work is in paper and black ink (comic book art demands so) and also I have done some color acrilic gouache arts.
Some times I use grafitty paint, neon acrilic colors, and colored wood pencils.
Into my future carrear I would use oil and aerograph tecnics, mixing the medias.
I think history is a good base for starting art proyects, we can illustrate a precise moment of the history of our countries, we can illustrate how did it affected us through time, or how does it makes us feel in an psicological or emotional state.
The posibilities are limitless.

Description
I'm a 49-year-old Guatemalan artist. I've been creating art since my early years, and in 2020, I started studying art at The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art.
The courses I took were online, and I have been continuing them until this year.
I have also taken courses at the Aaron Blaise Academy, "CreatureArtCreature," which specializes in illustration and animation.
My goal is to earn a certificate in 2D animation and character design. So far, I have completed two comic books: one about the history of Vikings and the other a graphic novel about migration.
Most of the work I am showing here is from the Viking project, in which I am currently involved in two more comics.
I have a collection of artwork in different mediums: watercolors, acrylics, and ink. In these, I have portrayed people from different cultures around the world, jazz musicians, portraits, human figures, athletes, famous sculptures, movie characters and scenes, and comic book characters.
All these smaller works (in small formats) have served as the foundation upon which I am now building my career. I hope, over time, to reach a level of work that satisfies my personal vision of art and the world.
In my pursuit of understanding the human figure and its movements, I have done hundreds of studies. I'm also very interested in the study of animals, which is a theme I hope to explore in a series of colored pencil works on wood, if God grants me the time and health.
Additionally, if time is kind to me, someday I would like to take some of my drawings into the realm of sculpture.
