À propos de l'œuvre

This is another piece I love. I really like the simplicity of the lines, especially in the model's face. Sometimes in art, we feel bound to create very realistic faces, but that isn’t always necessary. In this case, I think I found the right blend between reality and expressionism. I also love her breasts, her legs, and the square and roundness of her bottom.
Now, this piece lacks the dynamic movement of my other works; it is a very static pose, but the expression on her face makes her feel alive. Creating the human figure can be a passion that offers a lifelong career, always searching for new ways to present the human form and its volumes.
At this moment, there’s no need for me to be hyper-realistic or even just a bit more realistic. I believe I can achieve satisfying results with just a few strokes, depending on the medium, of course. As I’ve mentioned before, in the future, I hope to create art that includes an environment and storytelling, adding color. An exploration into sculpture would also be a good step in my journey, but I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to pursue it.
