Realismus

The Spanish artist Jorge Villalba (*1975, Alicante) lives and works in Germany, studied at several art colleges and universities in Granada, Valencia and in the Bauhaus University of Weimar. The paintings of Jorge Villalba display the key moments in life: Birth, death and scenes in between these two extremes. His pictures are realistic and have a mythological energy and dynamism. They are an excess of technical perfection. He uses classical motives, but the pictures are new and modern. Villalba masters all facets of his complex art with a metaphysical matrix.
