✨Angela Roos-Maguire stammt aus dem kleinen Ort Galmoy im irischen County Kilkenny. Ihre ersten Lebensjahre verbrachte sie in London, wohin ihre Eltern aus beruflichen Gründen ausgewandert waren. Doch schon früh zog es die Familie zurück in die Heimat – dorthin, wo grüne Hügel, sanftes Licht und tiefe Naturverbundenheit prägend wirken.✨

🪻Obwohl Angela den Beruf der Hebamme erlernte, blieb die Malerei ihre Begleiterin – eine Leidenschaft, die nie von ihrer Seite wich. Seit nun über 30 Jahren lebt sie in Egolzwil im Kanton Luzern, wo die Schönheit der Zentralschweizer Landschaft und ihr blühender Garten als tägliche Quelle der Inspiration dienen.🪻

She spent her early years in London, where her parents had emigrated for professional reasons. However, the family was drawn back home at an early age - to a place characterised by green hills, soft light and a deep connection to nature.✨

🪻Although Angela learnt the profession of midwife, painting remained her companion - a passion that never left her side. She has lived in Egolzwil in the canton of Lucerne for over 30 years now, where the beauty of the Central Swiss landscape and her blossoming garden serve as a daily source of inspiration.🪻

☀️Angela's artistic work is primarily devoted to watercolour painting. The flowing character of the colours, their transparency and the interplay with water enable her to create a very special form of expression.
