About the artwork
The artwork is a square canvas, predominantly featuring a dynamic interplay of yellow and black acrylic paint. Two vertical sections of black fabric are integrated into the painting, acting as dividers or frames. These textures add depth and contrast. Between them, and partially overlapping the painted areas, are three vertical arrangements:
Dried flowers: A bunch of dried flowers, including what looks like dried poppy seed heads and a carnation-like bloom in muted beige and yellow hues, are bound together and positioned to the left.
Dried plant stems: To the left of the flowers, a thin, dried plant stem stands upright adding a natural element to the composition.
