«Waggele ufem Stüehli» ist schweizerdeutsch für «Auf dem Stuhl hin und her wippen». Das Bild illustriert den Aufschwung des geistigen Zustands einer Person nach einer depressiven Episode. Allerdings ist der Zustand immer noch wackelig und ungewiss. Wenn der Stuhl kippt, fällt er in das brodelnde Lava, das unter seinem Stuhl lauert.
