About the artwork
Part of the serie The Rebirth of The Goddess Within, this painting was born in Guatemala after 2 months exploring culture, landscapes, meeting people and diving into the world of my own emotions. Over the past 2 years, I have developped an intimate relationship with the plant of cacao, which I got to deepen during this stay, through countless walks in cacao plantations and prayer ceremonies around the fire.
In a world where everything goes fast and faster, I got to slow down to discover to truly meet what lives underneath my skin. It's there in this darker places, unseen from the common eye that I got to meet more of me, raw and authentic. Reaching the freedom and joy of simple living.
