"The Cinnamon Songs of the Acacia Tree" - Océane Fehr Art

About the artwork

I have a growing interest in flora clusters. This painting is inspired by the bright bursts of yellow of the acacia trees while they are in full bloom. The cinnamon-chested honey bee-eater cloaks itself in an emerald green feathering on its back. Like their names state, they have brown chests similar to the colour of the cinnamon spice; they also have whitish throats, and sport a black bandana over their eyes. These birds are experts at hunting moths, butterflies, dragonflies, beetle, and other flying insects such as honeybees! Although they depend on insect populations in order to survive, they seem to have the ability to adapt to the loss of their habitat. Through this painting, I hope to get more people to pay attention to the life inside flowers.
