New Commission! And the buyer was very pleased with my work! The inspiration of this commission came from the massive impact I had during my internship during the pandemic. Beetles are truly stunning creatures, their electric exoskeletons catch the light of the sun which is a feature that I wanted to capture in this painting. Along with the contrast of the vibrant reds of a guava and its crisp yellow skin, I hoped to bring out the beauty of these creatures.
It was a truly enjoyable experience that has marked me for the better.
