Short Summary

Facing my biggest fear

What's my biggest fear? How many times have I asked myself this question, and how many different answers have I received?

As an artist, my biggest fear is to run out of inspiration, of ideas, of creativity. It shows up in my work. When I approach completion, I slow down. I delay the finishing of a piece because I yet don't know what's to come.

For long, I have felt so uncomfortable being in the vast emptiness, in this space in-between. Yet knowing that it's in this space that everything is created. With time, I am learning to lean into and to cherish this space of infinite potential, the one where something new is born.

Creating is the essence of this human life, and running out of creativity would simply mean running out of life.
